You will wait. Usually, you will wait for at least an hour in the front waiting room, then after seeing a tech, you will get to wait in the back waiting room for 30-60 minutes, regardless of whether you have a dilation done.
We went here most recently because my son's eyes were hurting. Two years ago when this happened, we were told to limit his screen time but his eyes were fine. This time his eyesight has deteriorated, but as most of his screen time was at school there was nothing they could do. I asked for a note and was told the doctor didn't want to get involved. So to recap when I can control his screen time, I should, when I would need a doctor's help with school, that's too bad. If you want a doctor who is going to care and put your child's well being first go somewhere else.
